Spring 2027 Field Trips

Engaging Students through obervation and creativity.

2 hrMuseum of East Texas

Class Description

Help your students discover that art is more than something we look at—it's a way of seeing, thinking, and telling stories. Through guided discussions, students will strengthen observation, critical thinking, and communication skills while making connections between visual art, local history, science, mathematics, and language arts. Spring Field Trip spots are available Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings, 10:00am-12:00pm. These times may be adjusted slightly to accomodate the class's schedule. Field trips can accomodate a maximum of 80 students. If you need any exceptions to the time or number of students, please email hhatton@metlufkin.org.
