Free Family Events

Free family events! We host 4 Super Saturday events a year, filled with crafts, fun, and enriching learning experiences for our community.  Additionally, we host free weekday events throughout the year designed to engage and inspire families.

Traveling Trunks

Bring the Museum to You

Our traveling trunks offer exciting hands-on learning experiences for your classroom or group. Packed with artifacts, photos, and engaging activities, students learn through touch, observation, and discussion. Best of all, it's free! Teachers, librarians, and group leaders can reserve a trunk for up to two weeks. Call or email us today to reserve a trunk!

Summer Art Camp

The Museum of East Texas's Summer Art Camp offers a variety of classes for ages 3 and up. Art Camp is Monday-Friday in weeklong morning and afternoon sessions.
