Artist Statement

"My art journey is about discovering beauty in the everyday. The familiar patterns and textures that often go unnoticed but have their own stories to tell. My work tends to be a combination of subtle textures and colors with bold patterns.

I’m drawn to the design elements that we are exposed to in things such as wallpaper in a childhood home or the color and piecework of a handmade quilt, all coming together to create something unique yet deeply familiar.

My hope is that with each piece the viewer has a chance to pause, look closer, and find the beauty in the objects that surround us every day."
