Class Description

Join artist Diana Meade for an engaging and hands-on workshop where you will dive into the vibrant world of zine making! Zines are DIY, self-published booklets often used to share personal stories, art, and unique perspectives. This class is perfect for anyone interested in creative self-expression, community building, and the art of low-cost publishing. In this workshop, you will create your own zine using a variety of art supplies and materials provided, experimenting with collage, drawing, and other creative methods. Engage in a zine swap with fellow participants, exchanging copies of your creations and building connections! Join us for a fun and inspiring workshop that will leave you with your very own zine and the skills to continue making and sharing your creations! This class takes place from 1-3pm on July 27th at the Museum of East Texas (503 N Second St., Lufkin, Texas).
