Class Description

Embark on a journey through the timeless art of traditional paper animation in this class, where students learn foundational techniques such as flipbook creation and frame-by-frame animation, fostering a deep understanding of the craft's rich history and artistic expression. This class is excellent for those that already love to draw and want to watch their drawings come to life! This class takes place Monday through Friday (June 17-21) from 9am-12pm. Students must be 11-14 years old to participate. Students must meet the minimal age requirement for an age group by the day the class begins. Age requirements are nonnegotiable and are strictly enforced for each class. There are no exceptions. Registration closes 1 week before each course. To cancel, you must call the museum as soon as possible. No refunds are issued after registration, including for "no-shows," with the exception of classes canceled by the Museum of East Texas. Classes must meet a minimum of 6 students to proceed as scheduled. Before enrolling your child, kindly verify the age ranges for seamless registration. Thank you!
