Class Description

From instructor Rachel Molandes: "Painting lessons begin with color theory and mixing colors. I truly believe an artist can create any colors they could ever need just by having 5 colors. We will learn about brush strokes by creating reproductions of famous artists. We will learn about light and shadow by painting still life. " This class takes place July 22-26 (Monday through Friday) from 9am-12pm. Students must be ages 11-14 to participate. Students must meet the minimal age requirement for an age group by the day the class begins. Age requirements are nonnegotiable and are strictly enforced for each class. There are no exceptions. Registration closes 1 week before each course. To cancel, you must call the museum as soon as possible. No refunds are issued after registration, including for "no-shows," with the exception of classes canceled by the Museum of East Texas. Classes must meet a minimum of 6 students to proceed as scheduled. Before enrolling your child, kindly verify the age ranges for seamless registration. Thank you!

Cancellation Policy
