Fiber Fun

Class Description

Join artist Stephanie Carcano as students learn where wool comes from and what we can do with it. Explore how fluffy bits of softness can be transformed into something durable and practical. Make felt, spin yarn, weave and create other fun projects from the world of fibers. Snacks will be provided. This class takes place Monday through Friday (June 17-21) from 1-4pm. Students must be 9-14 years old to participate. Students must meet the minimal age requirement for an age group by the day the class begins. Age requirements are nonnegotiable and are strictly enforced for each class. There are no exceptions. Registration closes 1 week before each course. To cancel, you must call the museum as soon as possible. No refunds are issued after registration, including for "no-shows," with the exception of classes canceled by the Museum of East Texas. Classes must meet a minimum of 6 students to proceed as scheduled. Before enrolling your child, kindly verify the age ranges for seamless registration. Thank you!

Cancellation Policy
