Class Description

Join us for an exciting series of art classes this October, where we combine the rich resources of the Naranjo Museum and the Museum of East Texas to bring you a unique drawing experience! Dates: Sundays, October 6, 13, 20, 27 Time: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Ages: 18 and up Instructor: Erin Gentry Location: Varies, see below. Location and Class Details: Museum of East Texas: October 6 and 13 Draw from artifacts in the Naranjo Museum collection. These might include a bobcat, African deer, and potentially an antelope. Naranjo Museum: October 20 and 27 Draw from larger animals on display, such as black and brown bears, a Nile crocodile, and an African lion. You can sign up for one class or as many as you like. We will explore drawing media, such as graphite and charcoal, as well as drawing practices in all classes. We charge $8 per class (which includes entrance fee to the Naranjo Museum for classes on Oct 20 and 27).
