Class Description
Class Title: Clay Vessels Date: Thursday, February 6 Time: 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Grade Level: 3rd - 5th Grade Cost: $8 per class Supplies: All supplies provided Join us for an exciting afterschool art class designed for young artists in 3rd to 5th grade! In these classes, students will learn art basics through a variety of media and learn a little art history along the way. No experience or prior art knowledge required! Classes will start promptly at 4pm, when you are able to drop off your child and pick them up by 5pm. We kindly request that all families ensure timely pickup of their children, as the Museum closes at 5pm. In this particular class, "Clay Vessels," students will learn beginner hand-building techniques using air-dry clay, become familiar with basic clay vocabulary, and create two different types of clay vessels: a pinch pot and a coil pot. With time permitting, students will share their creations with their other artist classmates. Don't miss this opportunity for your young artist to learn new skills, express their creativity, and have fun with fellow art enthusiasts!
