Tuition for Art Camp is kept to a minimum so that everyone can participate and have a hands-on art experience. Fees range from $25 to $55 per week and scholarships are available, thanks to the generosity of the Museum Guild and Museum patrons. Registration begins in spring and Museum members receive a 10% discount.

Classes have size limitations and are dependent on minimum enrollment.

Classes are offered on a weekly basis and participants choose from a variety of class offerings, depending on the age of the participant. Art Camp teachers are local and regional professional artists and/or art educators.

Morning Sessions 9 a.m. to noon;
Afternoon Sessions 1-4 p.m.

Children ages 4-14 are invited to join us for the 15thAnnual Summer Art Camp at the Museum of East Texas. Morning and afternoon sessions are available in a variety of media. Morning classes are from 9 a.m. to 12 noon with afternoon classes from 1 to 4 p.m. Scholarships are provided by the Museum Guild with funds raised through their Annual Festival of Trees.

Wee Art
9:30-11 a.m.

Three-year old children and a parent or guardian are invited to join us at the Museum of East Texas for Wee Art! This hour and a half long morning class begins the journey to discovering the world of art through lines, shapes, textures, and colors. A snack period with stories is included. Class cost is $30 for non-members and $25 for Museum members.
